ROBINSON CRUSOE.
Jack Cfssans, a singer, and a clever English vagabond, who lived in the early part of this century, wrote for his own singing the words of " Poor Robinson Crusoe." The air was taken from a pantomime called u Robinson Crusoe, or Harlequin Friday," which was acted in Drury Lane Theatre, in 1781, and was said to have been devised by Sheridan. It was revived successfully at the same theatre, in December, 1808.
